Project Summary

 

Under the PDP-S Equinox JV, we formed then delivered a Team at very short notice to provide immediate reinforcement to, and plug critical capability gaps within, the SDA Submarine Enterprise Acquisition Capability (SMEAC) Programme.

Generated at very short notice in response to client demand, the 12-person team delivered immediate impact in terms of capacity and competence in several key areas. The client was delighted by the speed of mobilisation and, in response, delivered an expedited on-boarding process that will potentially benefit future Equinox commitments.

 

Working in a blended team construct under Civil Service leadership, the Team delivered immediate and positive change in terms of key artefact delivery, programme controls, delivery of an ARM Risk methodology and completion of a supply chain audit. In addition, the Team delivered groundbreaking work that included the delivery of a baseline Demand Signal capturing ‘requirements’ across multiple submarine programmes.

 

By leaning-in from the outset and grasping the challenges, the Team helped establish then reinforce ways of working and provided much needed capacity and capability.
