Delivery Modes

Mode 1

Used as a Resource augmentation solution to fill a vacant Civil Servant’s role as and when required.

Tasked individuals fulfil this role and embed fully into the Customer team until deployment concludes or a Civil Servant has been identified through recruitment, promotion, level transfer or other reason.

Mode 1a

Where an individual has been specifically nominated or requested by the Customer.

Tasked individuals fulfil this role and embed fully into the Customer team until deployment concludes, or a Civil Servant has been identified through recruitment, promotion, level transfer or other reason.

Mode 2

Used when a task requires a particular capability or expertise, such as project management, to deliver a specific output. Outputs produced will be defined deliverables, or services,

which are time bound against a defined schedule of works for a fixed price.

This mode passes the risk of delivery, cost and quality to Equinox.

Mode 2a

Similar to Mode 2, except the MOD is included in a ‘mini competition’ run within the Equinox Supply Chain.

Mode 3

Programme of Critical Outputs for large multi-output demands. A flexible level of support enabling a high level of service delivery and support towards the achievement of programmatic outputs for a fixed price.

Used when a complex set of multi-expertise related outputs is required to deliver a programme/ project with a flexible solution.

This mode offers delivery solutions in an uncertain and changing environment.
